Dogging near Colchester

I would like to know where near Colchester there is a good place to go to just watch? How do I tell if a couple want to be watched, as they do not seem to put there internal light on, so you can't tell private couples from the exhibitionists. Also are there any places that are free from gay guy's? Not that I have anything against them I just dont want them getting the wrong idea as I am typically straight, married, 33yr old but wife is not interested nor does she know that I do this.
